Questions

What counts as a check?

Only allowed checks made with a live key. Denied checks never count, so abuse against your limits doesn't use up your plan. A check that draws from a user and a team pool counts once.

What's an active subject?

Each of your users, keys, agents or teams with at least one allowed check this month, counted once however many checks it makes.

What are test checks?

Checks made with a test key while you build. They have their own allowance, 10% of your plan's allowed checks, aren't billed and never count toward your live usage.

What happens when I reach my plan's limit?

Your product keeps working. Owners get an email at 80% and 100%, and you get 10% grace. Past that, each limit's fail mode applies: open by default, so your product carries on, its limits paused until you upgrade or the next period starts. Upgrading lifts it within a minute. Plan allowances has the details.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes, at any time, in Settings → Billing. When you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. To move to a smaller plan, the workspace has to fit it first, such as its number of members.

How does annual billing work?

You pay for a year at once and it costs less than paying monthly. Switch the toggle above the plans to Annual to see the prices.
